SUMMARY
A Bostonian in France is a personal blog—created as a way for me to capture my experiences as an expat living in France, through storytelling, photographs, and food. Over time, the blog has evolved into an archive of recipes, as well as photos and stories.

COMMENTING
I welcome comments on this blog, and look forward to hearing from you. Please keep the comments civil and content-appropriate. Negative/hostile/irrelevant comments will be edited and/or deleted.

RECIPES
By nature, I am a passionate and curious cook, and love creating tastes of home and of my new country. I am "self-taught" meaning I'm not a professional recipe developer or chef, but I have developed my cooking style over years of cooking, eating, learning with and from others such as my family and foodie friends. Whether it's at the market, or picking vine-ripen vegetables from my garden, I am often inspired to cook by an ingredient's texture, color, and/or smell.

All recipes are mine or family recipes, unless otherwise attributed with a link to the original recipe.

Most recipes are in Metric System. When possible, I have listed recipes in both U.S. Standard and Metric Systems, but I may not get to converting all recipes. Please reference the Baking and Cooking Conversions Chart if you wish to convert from one standard to another.
